Robert appeared at the Barnes & Noble campus bookstore adjacent to Kyle Field right before the kick off of the Texas-Texas A&M football game to talk about his book and personalize first-edition hardcover copies which includes stories about producing games in College Station, working on shows with President George HW Bush, and his time in Austin.
Robert appeared “live” on the morning television show “Good Morning Texas” to promote the book and the Dallas Jewish BookFest event at the JCC that evening. The producers and viewers loved his story about visiting Channel 8 when he was a student in Dallas, working with former sports anchor Verne Lundquist, producing Mavericks games and Texas Rangers.

Robert appeared at Barnes & Noble at 5301 Belt Line Rd #118, Dallas, TX to talk about his book and personalize first edition hardcover copies. All but one copy was sold by the well-attended and organized event.
Robert spoke to Journalism/PR/RTF students and others at the Moody College of Communication about his time attending UT, writing for The Daily Texan, blazing his own path into sports television and of course his new book.

A fantastic party of over 400 ESPN old timers returned to celebrate ESPN’s 45th birthday. I produced many events for ESPN through the years including its first-ever MLB game, World Cup Soccer, college football, basketball and baseball including the College World Series.
An enthusiastic gathering took place at the Jewish Book Council event moderated by Seth Friedman. I enjoyed meeting members and seeing my relatives.
An enthusiastic crowd of 175 people packed Evelyn Rubenstein Houston JCC Kaplan Theatre for Robert’s conversation with former Astros, Rangers and Fox Sports commentator Greg Lucas, followed by book signing. It was a wonderful evening.
