1997 was the inaugural season of the WNBA and I had the privilege to produce ESPN and Lifetime Television games with play-by-play announcers Michele Tafoya and Robin Roberts, along with analysts Meghan Pattyson and Reggie Miller and reporter Summer Sanders.
Now, in 2024, I am the Executive Producer of the Dallas Wings, I am more excited than ever to see how the league has evolved, blossomed and earned the respect of sports fans everywhere. And I welcome our new analyst to our announce team for our regular season opener Wednesday, May 15, 2024 on Bally Sports SW and that’s the first-ever player signed to the WNBA, Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Sheryl Swoopes.
